Facial revival advancements are used to cure facial ailments. Resurfacing and microdermabrasion have been a boon to cosmetic dermatology. Nanoparticles of metals and metal oxides are used to treat bacterial and fungal infections. Successful aesthetic surgeries like liposuction, labiaplasty, and breast augmentation have been modified with time.

As compared to 2015, 17.1 million cosmetic procedures were performed globally with an increase of 3%.
