Dermatopathology

This field is for both dermatologists and pathologists. Basically, a dermatologist or pathologist will have to complete one year of Dermatopathlogy fellowship. This usually includes 6 months of general pathology and 6 months of Dermatopathlogy. Alumni of both specialties can qualify as dermatopathologists. At the completion of a standard residency in dermatology, many dermatologists’ doctors are also competent at Dermatopathlogy.
