Skin Grafting and Laser Treatments

Laser surgery or Resurfacing is a type of surgery that uses a laser to cut tissue a range of lasers such as erbium, dye, Q switches lasers and CO2 are used to treat various skin disorders. The laser treatment for dermatology often bypasses the skin surface. The concept of laser surgery for the skin problem is based on Selective Photothermolysis and it results in the removal of unwanted tissue.

  • Laser resurfacing is usually done with a 2940 nm Erbium laser or a 10,600 nm CO2 laser
